Is there a student or academic discount available?

Yes! We do offer student and academic discounts for those in education.

If you have a valid email address from a school or university you can purchase a single user PyXLL license at the academic price by following this link.

If you have any trouble with your student email address not being recognised, or any other questions, please contact us.

Do all PyXLL users need a license, or just developers?

All PyXLL users will need to be licensed to use the PyXLL add-in. This includes all end users of the add-in, regardless of whether they are developers or not.

It's very common to have a larger group of end users than developers and we have discounted prices for groups. If you need a bespoke quote for a large number of users or you want to discuss your specific requirements with us then please contact us.

How does it work with multiple users?

When you select your plan you enter how many users you need a license for.

A single license key will be issued that can be shared between all of your users.

If you need to add more users later you can do that via the customer portal, or contact us if you need assistance updating your subscription.

What happens after I subscribe?

As soon as you complete your purchase your license key will be emailed to you.

You then simply need to copy that license key to your pyxll.cfg config file to start using it. There is no need to re-download or re-install PyXLL.

Before your license renews you will receive a reminder email and you can cancel at any time.

Can I use PyXLL on multiple PCs?

Yes, the licensing is per-user rather than per-machine. This means if you have a desktop and a laptop PC, for example, you can use PyXLL on both with a single user license.

What payment methods do you accept?

We take online credit card payments and PayPal using the links above.

For group purchases we can work with procurement teams or purchasing agents and accept a purchase order for payment by credit card or bank transfer.

I don't want my subscription to auto-renew

That's no problem!

After you've purchased your license you can log in to our customer portal and mark your subscription for cancellation. This will not cancel your current license, it will only stop your subscription from automatically renewing. You will still get an email reminder a couple of weeks before your license expires.

If you prefer, simply contact us after making your purchase and we can turn off auto-renewals on your account for you.

Where do I download the full version of PyXLL from?

You can download the current version of PyXLL from our download page and previous versions from the changelog page.

There is no different evaluation or full version of PyXLL, the only difference is the license key required to activate the add-in after the evaluation period has ended.
